Catherine Rose Brukalo is an associate attorney at the Law Office of
Kenneth C. Chessick, M.D. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and in the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois. Catherine has been involved in all aspects of litigation and trial.

Prior to joining the Law Office of Kenneth C. Chessick, M.D., Catherine was an associate at Steven D. Gertler and Associates, where she prosecuted multiple municipal cases (bench trial and jury trial) to verdict.

Catherine received her Juris Doctor degree from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Prior to that, Catherine obtained an M.A. in History of Art, from University College London, in London, England, having previously graduated from Northwestern University, in Evanston, with a dual B.A. degree in Art History and U.S. History. After completing her studies in London, Catherine traveled to Krakow, Poland, where she interned at the United States Consulate General for the United States Department of State. Her work overseas presented Catherine with an opportunity to represent the United States Consulate to various private and governmental organizations. Catherine was recognized for her contributions at the Consulate General by then
Ambassador Christopher R. Hill.

Catherine is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Chicago Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association.

Catherine is of Polish descent, speaks several foreign languages, and remains active in the Polish-American community in Chicago. Catherine resides in Chicago, with her husband and Golden Retriever.
