Mariam Hafezi Qualman is an associate attorney at the Law Office of Kenneth C. Chessick, M.D. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and in the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois.

Prior to joining the Law Office of Kenneth C. Chessick, M.D., Mariam was a law clerk in a general litigation firm working primarily in plaintiff's personal injury gaining experience in a variety of tort cases. Mariam also worked as a "711 Law Clerk" for the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office prosecuting misdemeanors where she tried eight cases to verdict.

Mariam received her Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the Northern Illinois University College of Law graduating magna cum laude. While at NIU, Mariam was an Assistant Editor for the Law Review and had her article published in the online Law Review and in the DuPage County Bar Association Brief magazine. Prior to that, Mariam graduated from the University of Iowa with a BBA in Marketing, an International Business Certficate, and a minor in Spanish.

Mariam's professional affiliations include the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, DuPage County Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association.

Mariam is of Colombian and Persian descent and speaks fluent Spanish. She resides in Lisle with her husband.
