Julie
A. Filimonov is an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Kenneth C. Chessick,
M.D. She is licensed to practice law in the states of Illinois, New York,
and New Jersey. Julie is also licensed to practice law in the Northern
District of Illinois, United States District Court.
Julie graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago with a degree of Bachelor
of Science. She is a recipient of an Illinois State Scholar Award and
a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Julie received
her Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago in
2006. While obtaining her law degree, Julie has concentrated her studies
in the area of litigation. She is a recipient of a CALI Award in Dispute
Resolution.
Julie’s professional memberships include the American Bar Association,
the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the New York
State Bar Association, and the National Association of Women Lawyers.
Julie is also a member of a historic Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
